Pinus kesiya

Pinus kesiya is one of the most widespread pine species in Asia. The main populations are found in India and Myanmar.

It reaches up to 35 m in height.

The soft and lightweight wood has a wide range of uses.

The needles grow in clusters of three on short shoots, are slender, and have finely serrated edges.

The cones are small, oval, single or in pairs, hanging or curved downward.

The seeds are small, brown, and have a short wing.
