Acer campestre

Acer campestre is a species of tree in the soapberry family. It is native to southern and central Europe, the Caucasus, and Asia.

It grows up to 20 meters tall.

The leaves are opposite and slightly crenate. The upper leaf blade is shiny, dark green, and the underside is gray-green. Young leaves are slightly hairy. They turn yellow in autumn.

The flowers, gathered in clusters of about 10, are yellow-green.

The fruit is a flattened nut, called a samara, membranously winged, and often slightly hairy.

Every order is accompanied by a receipt or (upon request) an invoice, a delivery note compliant with WIORiN requirements, as well as a plant passport, if required.

The seeds we offer are of high quality and intended for both nurseries and amateurs.

Seed Handling Instructions:

Stratify the seeds – place them in moist soil and store at approximately 3°C for 9-12 weeks. Check the seeds regularly and aerate the soil. Moisten the soil as needed. Once stratification is complete, the seeds can be sown outdoors in spring or autumn.

SEEDS ARE INTENDED FOR SOWING ONLY!
