Acer negundo
Acer negundo is a species of tree in the soapberry family. It is native to North and Central America.
It reaches a height of 18 to 20 meters.
The leaves are pinnate, consisting of 3-5 leaflets borne on short stems. The leaflets are ovate with entire margins, the upper surface of the leaves green, and the lower surface hairy.
The flowers are dioecious, arranged in dioecious clusters, and petalless. Male flowers are arranged in pendulous clusters, while female flowers are arranged in clusters.
The fruit is a single-winged, elongated nutlet (called a samara), which grows symmetrically attached to another.
