Anacardium occidentale
Anacardium occidentale is a small, tropical tree with a spreading, regular crown, native to South America, reaching approximately 8 meters in height.
The fruit is a two-part nut, consisting of a true fruit and a cashew apple, and is edible.
The flowers are fragrant and arranged in panicles.
The leaves are green, obovate, shiny, and leathery.
Anacardium occidentale has no soil requirements. It prefers sunny or partly sunny locations.
Every order is accompanied by a receipt or (upon request) an invoice, a delivery note compliant with WIORiN requirements, and a plant passport, if required.
The seeds we offer are of high quality and intended for both nurseries and amateurs.
Seed Handling Instructions:
Soak the seeds in water for 2-12 hours and prepare a well-drained, slightly acidic soil with sand. Place the seeds in a pot about 1.5 cm deep, keeping them upright. Provide constant, high humidity and warmth until germination occurs.
