The Asian cotton plant is a striking, fast-growing tree native to southern India and Ceylon. It reaches approximately 12 meters in height.
The flowers are large, red, up to 15 cm in diameter.
The leaves are green, with seven fingers.
The fruit is an elongated capsule filled with white fluff.
The plant has medicinal properties!
The Asian cotton plant requires fertile, well-drained, and slightly moist soil. It prefers sunny or partly sunny locations.
Every order is accompanied by a receipt or (upon request) an invoice, a delivery note compliant with WIORiN requirements, and a plant passport, if required.
The seeds we offer are of high quality and intended for both nurseries and amateurs.
Seed Handling Instructions:
Soak the seeds in warm water for 24 hours, then place them about 0.5 cm deep in fertile potting soil with a pH of 6.5–7.5. Place the container in a warm, bright spot, such as a windowsill.
