Parthenocissus quinquefolia
Parthenocissus quinquefolia is a climbing vine that reaches a height of up to 20 meters, but it can be pruned freely.
Its annual growth reaches over 2 meters!
Thanks to its tendrils, it quickly entwines pergolas, arbors, walls, fences, supports, and other garden structures.
In autumn, its leaves turn a beautiful red.
Parthenocissus quinquefolia has no special soil requirements, is completely frost-hardy, and grows in both shade and sun.
Furthermore, it tolerates air pollution very well – it is suitable as a screen from busy roads.
Every order is accompanied by a receipt or (upon request) an invoice, a delivery note compliant with WIORiN requirements, and a plant passport, if required.
The seeds we offer are of high quality and intended for both nurseries and amateurs.
Seed handling instructions:
Prepare seed containers or seed boxes filled with well-drained soil. Mix the seeds with sand, then sow them in the boxes. Cover the seeds with a thin layer of soil, approximately 0.5-2 cm, depending on the size of the seeds. After sowing, moisten thoroughly. Cover the boxes with clear plastic wrap or glass to retain moisture, then place them in a warm, sunny location. Once the first leaves appear, remove the plastic wrap and provide the young seedlings with sunlight.
SEEDS ARE FOR SOWING ONLY!
