Clematis vitalba

Clematis vitalba is a fast-growing and vigorous climber native to Europe. It grows up to 10 meters tall.

This clematis can grow 1-2 meters tall during the growing season!

The white, fragrant flowers, 2 cm in diameter, are gathered in panicles and bloom all summer long!

The leaves are green, odd-pinnate, with five leaflets, arranged opposite each other.

The fluffy fruit persists on the plant until spring.

This exceptionally attractive plant can be planted on pergolas, arbors, walls, fences, and other garden structures.

Clematis vitalba has no special soil requirements. It prefers sunny or partly sunny locations. It is completely frost-hardy.

Every order is accompanied by a receipt or (upon request) an invoice, a delivery note compliant with WIORiN requirements, and a plant passport, if required. The seeds we offer are of high quality and designed for both nurseries and amateurs.

Seed Handling Instructions:

Soak the seeds in warm water for 24 hours, then stratify for approximately 60 days at 5°C. After this treatment, the seeds can be sown in pots or, after a frost, directly into the ground. Alternatively, you can sow the seeds directly into the ground in the fall, eliminating the need for stratification.
