Campsis radicans
Campsis radicans is an ornamental climber native to the United States, growing up to 10 meters in length.
The plant's special attraction is its scarlet-orange, trumpet-shaped flowers. It blooms from June to September.
The fruit is capsule-shaped, reaching up to 12 cm in length.
The leaves are dark green, pinnate, up to 30 cm in length, deciduous in winter.
This exceptionally attractive plant can be planted on pergolas, arbors, walls, trellises, and other garden structures. It climbs using adventitious roots and slightly twining shoots.
Campsis radicans prefers sunny but sheltered locations. The variety I offer is the most frost-hardy.
Each order is accompanied by a receipt or (upon request) an invoice, a delivery note compliant with WIORiN requirements, and a plant passport, if required.
The seeds we offer are of high quality and intended for both nurseries and amateurs.
Seed Handling Instructions:
Seeds should be cold stratified at a temperature of 0-5°C for approximately 30 days. After stratification, the seeds are sown in pots with potting soil and kept warm.
