Pinus patula

Pinus patula is a species of tree in the pine family. This pine is native to Mexico.

It grows up to 40 meters tall.

The needle-like, green, long, drooping leaves give the entire plant a spectacular, weeping shape.

Male cones are oblong-ovate, pinkish-yellow, later turning yellow-brown.

Female cones are purple, maturing to light brown. Mature cones are narrowly ovate and slightly curved.
