Diospyros melanoxylon
The persimmon (kaki melanoxylon) is a medium-sized tree or shrub that can be deciduous in drier locations or evergreen in moist areas. The tree is cultivated in India and Bangladesh.
It grows up to 25 meters tall.
The leaves are thick, light green, and softly hairy. They have an unparalleled flavor and a flexible, leathery texture.
The edible fruit is olive-green and ovoid. The yellow flesh is soft and sweet.

Instructions for handling seeds:
Fill the pots with fertile soil and moisten them thoroughly. Gently press the seeds into the soil to a depth of about 1-2.5 cm.
Cover the pots with plastic wrap or place them in a closed container to maintain constant humidity.
Place the pots in a bright location, at a temperature of 20-25°C.
Make sure the soil is constantly moist, but not wet.
