Phyllostachys pubescens
Phyllostachys pubescens is a striking, vigorous bamboo variety, prized for its exotic appearance and high climate resistance.
It originates from the subtropical regions of China and Taiwan.
It reaches up to 7 meters in height, but in Polish climates it usually remains shorter.
The plant is excellent for shaping, including garden bonsai.
The leaves are small, dark green, lanceolate, densely arranged on side shoots, creating a striking, oriental look.
Phyllostachys pubescens grows best in well-drained, slightly acidic or neutral soil. It prefers lightly shaded or shaded locations, sheltered from strong winds. Frequent pruning improves the plant's density and aesthetics.
Each order is accompanied by a receipt or (upon request) an invoice, a delivery note compliant with WIORiN requirements, and a plant passport, if required.
The seeds we offer are of high quality and intended for both nurseries and amateurs.
Seed Handling Instructions:
Soak the seeds in lukewarm water for 24-48 hours, then sow shallowly in light, moist soil. The seeds require a warm, bright location and constant moisture.
Protect seedlings from frost for the first two years.
SEEDS ARE INTENDED FOR SOWING ONLY!
