Trachycarpus fortunei

Trachycarpus fortunei is a species of tree from the Arecaceae family (palms). It comes from the mountains of southern and central China.

It reaches a height of up to 20 m.

Its leaves are large, fan-shaped and deeply divided. Their upper surface is dark green, while the reverse side has a silver coating.

During flowering, the palm produces fringed inflorescences composed of fragrant, yellow flowers.

After flowering, it produces brown, croissant-shaped fruits, the clusters of which resemble grapes in appearance.
