Theobroma cacao

Theobroma cacao is an evergreen tree with a compact crown, originating from South and Central America. It reaches about 15 meters in height.Fruits are oval berries containing up to 60 seeds inside.

Leaves are dark green, leathery, oblong, up to 30 cm long.

Flowers ranging in color from pink to red, growing in bunches directly from the trunk and branches of the plant.
Theobroma cacao requires fertile, permeable and moist soil. It prefers sunny or semi-sunny positions.
