The fruit are drupes similar to berries. They remain on the shoots for a long time through the winter. They are spherical, ovoid, white in color.

Symphoricarpos albus  is an undemanding shrub in cultivation, it can grow on both fertile soils, but also sandy, dry and stony. Similarly, it can grow in full sun and in shade. It is resistant to frost and drought.
