Senegalia ferruginea

Senegalia ferruginea is a thorny deciduous tree. It occurs in India and Sri Lanka.
It reaches up to 12 meters in height.
The leaves are green, slightly curved, arranged alternately and double.
The flowers are pale yellow, gathered in numerous, loose spikes.
The pods are smooth, dark brown, contain sweetish flesh.
The seeds are greenish brown, flat-ovate, oblong.
