Picea abies

Picea abies is a species of tree from the pine family. It grows mainly in the north-eastern part of the country, in the south of Poland, in the mountains and foothills.

It reaches a height of 40–50 meters

The needles are pointed, arranged evenly on the branches. They remain on the branches for 5-7 years.

The cones are hanging, light brown, shiny, ripen in autumn and fall off after the seeds have spilled out of them.
