Phoenix canariensis

Phoenix canariensis is a species of plant in the Arecaceae family, native to the west coast of Africa, most likely the Canary Islands.
Often grown as a houseplant.
Reaches up to 25 meters in height
The leaves have very variable shapes – some are stiff and erect, others are bent and flaccid.
The inflorescence in the shape of a spadix appears in older plants.
