Phoenix acaulis

Phoenix acaulis is an evergreen palm native to northern India, Bhutan and Nepal.
Reaches 1.5 meters in height
Has medicinal uses
Leaves pencil-shaped, lanceolate, leaf sheath reddish-brown, fibrous. Leaflets arranged in opposing groups, blade one-colored, pale green.
Flowers at ground level, white, three-star, gathered in panicles.
Fruit is an ovoid berry ripening from green with scarlet tips to blue-black.
