Peganum harmala

Peganum harmala is a perennial plant from the Nitrariaceae family. It occurs in northern Africa, the Middle East, all the way to India and the Mediterranean.
It reaches up to 0.5 m in height.
Light green, elongated leaves.
White, 5-petal flowers.
The fruit is a small, three-chambered capsule, initially green, turning brown when ripe.
There are many seeds in the fruit, they are dark brown.
