Mucuna pruriens

Mucuna pruriens is a subshrub from the legume family. It comes from East Asia, the Moluccas and the Philippines.
It grows to a height of 15 m.
The leaves are trifoliate, ovate or rhomboid.
The flowers are white or pink and develop in pods 4 to 13 centimetres long.
Each pod contains up to 7 flattened seeds.
