Kigielia africana

Kigielia africana is an evergreen, tall tree, native to Africa. It reaches about 20 meters in height.

Leaves are green, odd-pinnate, elliptical.

Flowers are dark red, bell-shaped, gathered in long, hanging inflorescences.

Fruits are gray, up to 100 cm long.

The plant has medicinal properties!
Kigielia africana requires fertile, permeable, moist soil. It prefers sunny locations.
