Ipomoea palmata

Ipomoea palmata is a vigorous, perennial climber that was introduced as an ornamental plant in gardens in tropical, subtropical and temperate regions.
It grows to over 5 metres in length.
Leaves are green, ovate, pointed at the end and at the base, petioles are 2 to 6 cm long.
Inflorescences are lavender.
Fruits are spherical, about 1 cm in diameter, containing one or two hairy seeds.
