Indigofera tinctoria

Indigofera tinctoria is a subshrub from the legume family. It probably comes from West Africa. It was already known in ancient Egypt.
Leaves dark green, unpaired, ovoid in shape.
Flowers purple or pink, gathered in clusters.
Fruit gathered in pods.
