Grewia asiatica

Grewia asiatica is a species of flowering plant in the family Malvaceae. It was first found in Varanasi, India.
It grows to a height of 8 meters

The leaves are long and wide, 5–18 cm long, with a petiole 1–1.5 cm long.
The flowers are gathered in inflorescences of several pieces, individual flowers are about 2 cm in diameter, yellow, with five large sepals and five smaller petals.
The fruit is an edible drupe, 5–12 mm in diameter, purple or black when ripe.
