Gmelina arborea

Gmelina arborea is a fast-growing tree with numerous branches forming a large, shaded crown. It includes about 35 species found in Australia, New Guinea, New Caledonia, Southeast Asia, India and several in Africa.
It reaches up to 30 meters in height.
This species is considered valuable and useful. It is characterized by great endurance.
It has medicinal uses.
The leaves are simple, broadly ovate with a sharp tip, 10 to 20 cm long.
The flowers are pale yellow to cream, tubular, gathered in terminal racemes.
The fruit is a small, woody capsule containing winged seeds.
