Euonymus europaeus

Euonymus europaeus is a spreading shrub, native to Europe and Asia. In our climate, it reaches about 3 meters in height.

Small, greenish-white flowers, gathered in corymbs. It blooms at the turn of May and June.

Fruits are seed capsules. Ripe, they are bright pink.

Leaves are dark green, elliptical, pointed, in autumn they turn red.

Euonymus europaeus requires fertile, humus soil. It prefers sunny or semi-sunny locations. Resistant to frost.
