Eucalyptus camaldulensis

Eucalyptus camaldulensis is a perennial, large, spreading tree that grows along watercourses over most of mainland Australia. It grows to 30 metres tall. Young leaves are lanceolate, 80–180 mm long. Adult leaves are lanceolate or curved, the same dull green or grey-green colour on both sides and 50–300 mm long. Flowers small, white. Flower buds, arranged in groups of seven, nine or eleven. Mature buds are oval, green to creamy yellow. Fruit is a woody, hemispherical capsule.
