Erythrina suberosa

Erythrina suberosa is a medium-sized deciduous tree with an irregular crown, belonging to the legume family. It comes from the Punjab region. It grows up to 10 meters high. The leaves are trifoliate, oval in shape, bare on top, hairy on the bottom. The flowers are very attractive, light scarlet, 4 cm long. The fruits are pods that reach 15 cm. Usually, there are 2 to 5 seeds in one fruit, which are light brown or reddish brown, smooth and shiny.
