Dichanthium annulatum

Dichanthium annulatum is a tropical grass native to North Africa and India.
It grows to about 60 cm in height

Leaves are simple, alternate, with a narrow, linear blade. The ligule is represented by a short, truncated membrane, equipped with cilia at the top, about 1 mm long.
The inflorescence consists of a series of purple or green branches, each up to 7 centimeters long.
