Cryptomeria japonica

Cryptomeria japonica sometimes called the cypress tree, belongs to the cypress family, in the natural environment occurs in Japan and China.
In nature it reaches up to 70 meters in height, cultivated in Poland usually does not exceed 15 m.
The bark is red-brown and peels vertically, creating thin strips.
The needles are short, prickly, arranged in a spiral. They are green or bluish-green.
The cones are small, spherical, brown in color.
