Cornus amomum

Cornus amomum is a shrub with a loose, spreading, oval shape, originating from North America. In our climate, it reaches about 3-4 meters in height.

White flowers, gathered in peak umbels. It blooms at the turn of May and June.

Fruits are drupes, navy blue, gathered in seed heads, ripen in autumn, edible!

Dark green, elliptical leaves, in autumn they turn various shades of red. Red or purple shoots.

Cornus amomum has no soil requirements. It prefers sunny or semi-sunny locations. Resistant to frost.
