Clematis vitalba

Clematis vitalba is a fast-growing and vigorous climber native to Europe. It grows up to 10 meters tall. Over the season, this clematis can grow 1-2 meters!

The white, fragrant flowers, 2 cm in diameter, are gathered in panicles and bloom all summer long! The green, odd-pinnate leaves, with five leaflets, are arranged opposite each other. The fluffy fruit persists on the plant until spring.

This exceptionally attractive plant can be planted along pergolas, arbors, walls, fences, and other garden structures. Clematis vitalba has no special soil requirements, preferring a sunny or partly sunny location.
