Chukrasia velutina

Chukrasia velutina is a species of deciduous, tropical tree. It comes from Asia.

It grows to a height of 35 meters.

Leaves are pinnate or bipinnate, intensely green, closed in the evening and reopened the next morning.

Inflorescences are fragrant, with a green, pink or red calyx.

Fruits are bursting, ovoid, woody capsules. They have a yellowish color.
