Cassia roxburghii

Cassia roxburghii, also known as red cassia or Ceylon senna, is a flowering tree from the legume family, found throughout southern India and Sri Lanka.

It grows to a height of 15-20 meters

Alternate, pinnate leaves, in pairs with colored margins, which additionally improve the appearance.

The fruit is a typical legume, cylindrical and unbursting.

Attractive flowers, red to pinkish, in branched inflorescences.

Prefers a sunny position
