Carica papaya

Carica papaya is a tall, woody perennial plant from both Americas. It reaches about 10 meters in height.

Leaves are green, long, deeply cut, lobed.

Flowers are yellow-white trumpets, blooming all year round.

Fruits are oval berries, up to 45 cm long, edible, tasty.

The plant has medicinal properties!
Carica papaya requires permeable, slightly acidic soil. It prefers sunny or semi-sunny locations.
