Campsis radicans

Campsis radicans is an ornamental vine, originating from the United States, growing up to 10 meters in length.

The plant’s special advantage is its scarlet-orange flowers in the shape of trumpets. It blooms from June to September.

The fruit is in the shape of bags, reaching up to 12 cm. in length.

The leaves are dark green, feathery, up to 30 cm. in length, falling in winter.

This extremely effective plant can be planted near pergolas, arbors, walls, nets, and other elements of garden infrastructure. It climbs using adventitious roots and slightly twisting shoots.

Campsis radicans prefers sunny but sheltered positions. The variety I offer is the most resistant to frost.
