Callistemon viminalis

Callistemon viminalis  is a multi-stemmed, large shrub or tree native to New South Wales , Queensland and Western Australia .

It grows to a height of 10 metres (33 ft)

The leaves are alternate, flat, very narrow, elliptical to narrowly ovate.

The fruit of the plant is a woody capsule.

The flowers are bright red and are arranged in spikes at and around the ends of the branches, which continue to grow after flowering.

Callistemon viminalis prefers a sunny position.
