Cajanus cajan

Cajanus cajan is an annual or biennial plant from the legume family. Its original habitat is the eastern part of India.
It grows to a height of 4 meters

The fruit is a hanging pod about 10 mm long. It contains several flattened seeds 5–6 mm in diameter, creamy white through yellowish to brown.
The flowers are gathered in yellow inflorescences.
