Araucaria bidwilli

Araucaria bidwillii is an evergreen conifer found in rainforests in Australia.
Needles are hard, sharp and wide.
Flowers are male and female cones. Male cones are narrow, up to 20 cm long, falling off after flowering. Female cones are ovoid, after pollination they reach considerable sizes, up to 30 cm.
Woody scales arranged densely, with sharp tops pointing upwards.
