Adansonia digitata

Adansonia digitata is a tree with a wide crown, originating from tropical and subtropical Africa. It grows to about 20 meters in height.

Flowers white, large up to 17 cm. hanging. It blooms at the turn of May and July.

Leaves green, palmate, consisting of several smaller leaves.

Fruit elongated or spherical, up to 45 cm long. containing seeds inside.

A characteristic feature of Baobab is a large trunk, which stores water inside, it can contain up to 100 thousand liters of water!

The plant is suitable for bonsai!
Adansonia digitata has no soil requirements. It prefers sunny locations.
