Acer pseudoplatanus

Acer pseudoplatanus is a magnificent tree with a wide, spherical crown, native to Europe and Asia. In our climate, it reaches about 30 meters in height.

Flowers are yellow-green, gathered in hanging panicles, bloom in May. The plant is melliferous!

Fruits are double winged with round, spherical nuts, ripen at the turn of September and October.

Leaves are dark green, large, palmate, matte, seasonal, turning yellow in autumn.

The bark of the maple, like that of the plane tree, peels off in a plate-like manner.

Acer pseudoplatanus has no soil requirements. It prefers sunny or semi-sunny locations. Resistant to frost.
