Acer negundo

Acer negundo is a species of tree from the soapberry family. It occurs naturally in North and Central America.

It reaches a height of 18 to 20 meters.

Leaves are pinnate, consisting of 3–5 leaflets, set on short stems. The leaflets are ovate, entire, the upper surface of the leaves is green, the lower one is hairy.

Flowers are dioecious, arranged in dioecious, without petals. Male flowers are gathered in hanging bunches, female flowers are gathered in clusters.

The fruit is a one-sided, elongated nutlet that grows connected symmetrically to the other.
