Acacia holosericea

Acacia holosericea commonly known as soapwort is a shrub native to tropical and inland northern Australia.
It grows to a height of 3-8 metres.
Although it produces leaves as a seedling, the mature plant has no true leaves but rather flattened leaf-like stems that are oval, lanceolate in shape. They are covered with white silky hairs.
This shrub is cultivated as an ornamental plant, valued for its silver leaves,
long yellow flower stalks and twisted seed pods.
