Acacia decurrens

 

Acacia decurrens, commonly known as black wattle, is a perennial tree or shrub native to central and southern New South Wales.
It grows to about 2-15 m tall.
Leaves alternately arranged, dark green on both sides. The tips of young leaves are yellow.
Flowers small, yellow, have a very cottony appearance and are densely attached to the stems.
