Abies pindrow

Abies pindrow is a large evergreen tree, native to the western Himalayas.
It reaches about 40-60 meters in height.
Cones are wide, cone-shaped. They fall apart when mature, releasing the seeds.
Shoots are gray-pink, smooth, shiny and hairless.
Abies pindrow prefers acidic, moist soil.
Requires a semi-sunny or shady position.
It is completely frost-resistant.
