Abies pindrow

Abies pindrow is a large evergreen tree, native to the western Himalayas.

It reaches about 40-60 meters in height.

The cones are wide, conical in shape. They fall apart when mature, releasing the seeds.

Short side branches form a narrow, conical crown. Needles 2-4 cm long, narrow, dark green, shiny. Nepalese fir prefers acidic, moist soil.

Requires a semi-sunny or shady position.
