Caragana arborescens
Caragana arborescens is a medium-sized shrub or small tree native to East Asia. In our climate, it reaches about 6 meters in height.
The flowers are yellow, about 2 cm long, and fragrant. During the flowering period, they are densely covered with inflorescences. It blooms in mid-May.
The plant is a melliferous plant! The fruit is an elongated pod, 5 cm long, dark brown. The leaves are light green, bipinnate.
Caragana arborescens has no soil requirements.
It prefers a sunny or partly sunny location. It is frost-hardy.
