Duranta erecta

Duranta erecta is a long-lived, thorny plant belonging to the Verbenaceae family. It comes from tropical regions of America. It grows to 6 meters in height. The leaves are very resistant, elliptical in shape and 2 cm long. The flowers are small, with a very pleasant smell, gathered in large, abundant clusters, very attractive, with blue reflections. After flowering, small fruits are presented. Their color is usually between orange and yellow, and their size is similar to chickpeas, giving the plant a greater decorative significance than usual.
