Spathodea campanulata

Spathodea campanulata is an evergreen, decorative tree originating from Africa. It reaches about 20 meters in height.
Large, orange-red flowers, gathered in umbels.

Leaves are dark green, elliptical, pinnate, opposite.

The fruits are erect, dark brown, up to 25 cm long, containing winged seeds inside.

Spathodea campanulata requires fertile, permeable and slightly moist soil. It prefers sunny or semi-sunny positions.
